It finally happened. 

I stood next to a dude and someone assumed I was dating him.

Me and my parents went to the OC fair and there was a display of gems and they give you a worksheet to try and match the gems with their name and I was filling it out at the table and some stranger came to stand next to me and the elderly women managing the display looked at me and said, “Maybe your boyfriend here can help you with some of the answers.”

Me and the guy looked at each other.  I told her that I didn’t know him and that he was a stranger.  The guy shrugged.  The women continued, “Oh, then maybe you should introduce each other then! You never know what can happen!” 

At the same time I said, “I’m gay,” the guy said, “I’m married.”

The lady looked really offended that we wanted nothing to do with each other lmao
