Please share – MISSING PERSON – 16, FEMALE, INDIANAPOLIS, INDIANA

When someone you love is missing, your entire world stops. The agony of the unknown is a heavy burden to bear as your mind creates scenarios built from fear and stories heard over and over again on the news. As you flop back and forth helplessly in the events leading up to the disappearance, you feel foolish to think something like this couldn’t touch your life. You look for signs, you feel immeasurable guilt for not being more aware, protective, and present in order to have control over what is now a literal search party, viral Facebook post, a plead for answers and mercy. Oh not my sister becomes why her? And the reality and panic sets in that hope is all that’s left; hope in people, hope in a safe return. I am not a woman to be mystified or fooled by illusions and things I can’t grasp, but in order to hold my sister again…I must blindly reach with faith.

My sister, Hannah, a 16 year old from Indianapolis, Indiana has been missing nearly 11 days. Because she is 16, she is considered a “runaway” and able to consent to being in the company of any adult she chooses. This has completely stalled law enforcement in helping us retrieve my sister. The longer she’s gone, the more unsafe she becomes. She is involved with incredibly dangerous people and activity. She isn’t this girl; people preyed on her sweetness and need to be loved. My sisters (Hannah is a twin), brother, and myself are orphans. At 16, I cannot fathom how lost and lonely that world must be without parents. Regardless of what has transpired, I love my sister and I hope if she sees this, I hope she knows that my love for her could never be minimized. You are always welcome home. If you have seen her or have any information, please contact the numbers listed on the photo.
