Nice try.

you know what, i’m going to argue against this. I think this is cool. let them have beer name and what not. Let them feel cool. Let them know it’s awesome they want to be more presentable and feel good knowing they don’t have to be insecure about imperfections or blemishes if they don’t have to be

Have you not seen the names that companies that Urban Decay, Lorac, Too Faced, ColourPop and hundreds more use? For their women audience? I mean we have raunchy names with Urban Decay and Kat Von D, we have “i’m down with the kids” names with Tarte. We have cutesy names with Too Faced.

Yes, men can use any beauty product: the product has no gender, but in beauty, packaging has a lot to do with what first-time buyers purchase. Most people aren’t intense into beauty like I am. They just–try.

So yeah, let them try. Let them have their masculine makeup line. It’s cool, it’s fun, it makes lots of people feel better.

And one more thing, let’s not forget that toxic masculinity really affects how both men and women feel about their bodies? These are concelor pots. To cover up blemishes. Which men would not do because they’re supposed to be “manly” and to wear makeup is “girly and gross”. AND THEY SHOULD JUST TOUGH IT UP BECAUSE THEY ARE MEN.

I don’t know about you, but when I had stage four acne, I felt ugly as fuck. I wanted to hide. My skin–my own skin was stopping from being letting me feel good about myself because i was embarrassed. And social constructs or not, acne is awful and just let people feel better about themselves.

This is not the same as going to the drugstore and getting the same items and the pink tax. To me, this is different because it’s its own line.

ALSO, what about trans guys or people with body dysphoria? do you not realize how feminine most makeup products are?

Like–here is a product that means more masculine, that could make them feel better AND JUST.
