i can attest to this i bought a lavender one a while back and i had to throw it out i had a rash for a long time
Yea, I had the misfortune of trialing a sample of this a while back.
Thankfully I did not put it on my underarms (cause I have enough problems) but did a swatch on my inner forearm and the resulting effect can only be described as a chemical burn. I contacted the company about it and they attributed it to my “personal sensitivities” and disclosed their ingredient list to me (which is no different from the one on the back of the label), and with all the oils in it, I have to say, it is diluted because there are plenty of good carrier oils in there.
So either their ratio of EO to Carrier Oil is dangerously out of proportion, or the oils used are synthetics, which would make them more prone to outbreaks in people with sensitive skin. Either way it’s a shit product (for people like me) and I would never recommend Schmidt’s to anyone, or any of their products.
I also got a sample of their toothpaste but I didn’t even put it in my mouth, the smell of it was positively sinus searing.
