See, it’s the little things in the animation of this show that I appreciate. They didn’t HAVE to give Jim or Claire or Toby animation quirks or realistically awkward physical moments, but they did. And that decision, ultimately, improved the over-all quality of the entire show.
It made it more impressionable, more easier to immerse yourself into it. It’s awkward, real, and detailed. Everything keeps moving around. A character’s eyes dart around when they’re curious, their lips shift when under nervousness, their head tilts to the side when they’re confused or in thought, they look away for a second when they’re embarassed before looking back, and so much more. That’s reality, and that’s also this show’s reality.
You know that scene where Lilo and Stitch are dancing and they’ve got dark shades on and they’re doing that little shoulder thrust move? Replace that with NotEnrique and Claire. Actually, just imagine that whole movie but with NotEnrique and Claire.
