(Hunk and Lance are sitting in their dorm room at the Garrison. A clock on the bedside table reads 10:27pm)

Hunk: (To the camera) The Garrison has been pretty great so far. I got all the classes I wanted, I’m rooming with my best friend (Lance waves), I’m having a great time. The only thing dragging me down right now are my hallmates.

Lance: Ugh. Those guys are the worst.

Hunk: Now, I’d like to think that I’m a pretty chill guy. People tell me I’m fun to be around. I work hard to maintain that vibe. But people constantly walking by my door making noise at all hours of the day? Even during quiet hours? Man, that just wears away at you. Like, it’s 10:30pm, why are you guys so lou-

(Indistinct shouting comes from the hallway, audible even through the closed door)

Hunk: (breathes out his nose before smiling at the camera)

Hunk: Please excuse me, for a second.

(He stands up and moves to the door, where he opens it wide enough to stick his torso out)

Hunk: Hey, have any of you jackasses ever heard of QUIET FUCKING HOURS?

(Without waiting for an answer, he closes the door and returns to his seat)

Hunk: Anyway, where were we? 🙂

  • *coran voice* “what’s an ‘inch’? why do you need twelve to get a ‘foot’? what do those measurements even mean? who designed this system i’d like to have a word with-”
    • lance’s cuban ass: “god mood”

Pidge, Hunk and Lance shared a Minecraft server while they were at the Garrison and when they went to space they were sad about leaving their town behind. But then Pidge remembered that she had her laptop (with her copy of the game on it) so they all worked together to duplicate the game and make it compatible with Altean technology and now the entire team plays Minecraft together.

Allura and Coran have the Time Of Their Lives. Allura loves the art of creating. She goes about planting fields of flowers everywhere (Pidge changes the game code to make the flowers look like wild juniberries.) She also contributes to Pidge/Hunk/Lance’s town, and makes a bunch of houses in traditional Altean style (or as close as she can get to it.)

Coran is always online but no one can ever figure out where he is/what he’s doing until one day when he gathers everyone on the deck and like, whips out a screen and shows everyone he’s been working on making a painstakingly detailed replica of the Castle (he has it to size and everything) and it’s honestly incredible.

Pidge/Hunk/Lance probably have a dozen different mods downloaded, including one that lets them build a fully-functioning factory. They decide to start a cake company, with Hunk obviously as the CEO. Pidge and Hunk are in charge of actually like…… building the damn thing (they have over 100 hours invested in this) while Lance is in charge of aesthetics (he builds houses for the ‘workers’, which eventually turns into a small town. He also builds the factory building itself, but he isn’t satisfied with any designs yet.)

Shiro builds himself a simple little farm. Pidge put him in charge of producing the milk needed for Hunk’s cakes so Shiro tends to his beautiful flock of cows. It’s all very relaxing, he has a cute little farmhouse and everything.

Keith also builds things on his own time (he’s making a statue of a giant knife which Lance makes fun of him for) but Hunk/Lance put him in charge of security and spelunking. Meaning it’s his job to make sure the creepers stay away at night, and if the team needs rare materials he goes looking for them (they’re literally doing everything from scratch).

Matt, when he shows up, is the Chaotic player who accidentally crashes the server one day because he downloaded a mod that let him build black hole bombs and he set off like twenty of them. He also downloaded the mod that lets you build a rocket to get to the moon and he and Shiro work on that occasionally.

When they have the time, the entire team works on a to scale fully-formed Voltron that you can enter and everything. If you go inside the Lions you realize that everyone has made a little personalized room inside their respective Lion :’)
